This author is, in my opinion, one of the most controversial figures in the IC movement. She uses almost no spices at all, including any that are fine on an IC diet. Besides most of the recipes have onions as the ONLY flavoring, and if you are like me, you can't eat onions, no matter how thoroughly cooked.
