Tarascon Pocket Orthopaedica from Jones & Bartlett Publishers Price: $14.40 Customer Review: My orthopaedic rotation was only 5 weeks long (PA Student), nonetheless, this book was invaluable to me. Netter's Concise Atlas of Orthopaedic Anatomy (Netter Basic Science) from Saunders Customer Review: This is a great, small book that can be used for quick reference when working with orthopedic patients. The pictures are small but it is not meant as a true anatomical atlas. It includes some nice x-rays, plenty of common pathological conditions and a few quick tests. Physical Examination of the Spine and Extremities from Appleton & Lange Price: $67.32 Customer Review: One of my Advanced Practice Nurses (APN) asked me to try to find an older book another provider used for x-rays.
