It's definitely lacking in basic explanations which other atlases have, but it's nice, clean and visually vivid. I relied on this almost exclusively, along with the dissector in learning anatomy. Atlas of Human Anatomy 4e and Gray's Anatomy for Students Package (Netter Basic Science) from Saunders Price: $127.80 Customer Review: The books are great - Grays goes into great detail, and both have excellent and prolific diagrams. (most notably, the origin/insertion diagramsin Netter.) The table of contents is only so-so, making it difficult to find specifics if you don't quite remember where something is. Grant's atlas also provides an online version but search function is not as complete, often it cant find some of the structures. He used this set of books once to explain anatomy to me so that I could understand a medical condition we were discussing.
