Darn good product. Makes it easy to be an Author:

Dragon version 10 standard is a genuine bargain deal. I'm very happy with it. Not being a typist, I used version 8 since 2006 to write my 1st two books for Sybex/John Wiley & Sons.
Dragon v.10 is the first thing I purchased once the contract arrived to write my new 3rd edition book. It's sooo much easier than typing, but my total accuracy is about 92% due to my own speech/pronunciation issues. This product has been very helpful. I am still having improved function. It does take time to get the right words but the more I work with it the better I do. Overall it has been a real time-saver.

This is a great tool. Well worth the $$$. Even if you have to pay yourself (I had to) Makes the mountain of papers that is required as my "professional obligation" outside of the work day more managable. Definate stress reduction tool.
Individual plans which take 4 hours w/o this, now take 1.5. Don't let the boss know, I am sure she will find a new way to fill that other 2.5 hours in "data recording" items. After all in the humanities, it is now all about the data not the person.

Since one must have internet connectivity to get this to function why bother putting it on a CD? Should be sold as a download (would at least be "greener"). The machine I use is never connected to the internet and other machines I have access to do not allow one to have administrator privileges so the downloads they requre cannot be performed. I missed all of this stuff when considering the purchase, ya got me, my fault, "buyer beware". On the plus side I bought it as a gold box deal so I'm only out about... more info
