I did a lot of reviewing before buying my BD Basal Digital Thermometer. I wanted something that most of the people liked, that they found it to be easy to use and very basic. I didn't need a lot of bells and whistles. And I am very pleased with this thermometer. The Good: I like that it is basic. You press a button, it lights up, it beeps to let you know it is ready. Does its job well!:
This thermometer works better than those I have found at stores. It takes a long time, but I think that's just the nature of these thermometers. Once I got used to holding my mouth and my body still for the thermometer to do its thing, it's been great!

I've had this thermometer for 7 months and it works great. I love the back-light and that it stores the last temp. in memory.

My husband and I are on our 4th month trying to conceive. I have heard that a good way to gauge your ovulation time is with a basal thermometer, so I got one just to help the process along. After not even a month of using this I got tired of it. My temperatures were all over the place even though I was doing them at the same time every morning before I got out of bed.
