Equine Massage for Performance Horses:

This DVD is fantastic for both the average horse owner or an experienced equine massage professional. I was able to help my mare recover from an accident by watching her responses to my efforts. She had hurt for a long time before I learned Jim's techniques and no one really knew quite where she hurt. The laid-back tone and easy manner of this video, especially the wonderful demonstration horses, takes equine massage right to your own barn to apply to your own horse. Some of the techniques are a little advanced for a non-professional to apply, but I found that by incorporation the concept of "touch-response" in a good top-to-tail grooming session not only relaxed and soothed my middle-aged mare, and worked out her "kinks", but resulted in a much more vigorous and willing animal with great flexibility... more info

Anybody with an interest in bodywork for horses should own this DVD. Jim explains things very clearly and the DVD is very well put together.
I was able to use the techniques after my first viewing fairly well just by following a few notes that I took. Subsequent viewings of the DVD and sessions with my horse have allowed me to get a better feel and more confidence resulting in more effect from the work.
