As the other reviewers have said, this IS an excellent overview of the DASH program for lowering blood pressure. If you're ready to change your daily eating habits and you've already bought-into the idea and just need a little guidance, then this small volume is probably all you need. There are whole books about the DASH diet, including several very good ones by Thomas Moore and other health-care professionals who participated in the studies, but large portions of those books are dedicated to the study... more info
