Wonderful Book for People with UC:

I was diagnosed with UC in December of 2001. I studied up on the disease to educate myself and I found recipes here and there that I liked. The problem was that many of the recipes required the purchasing of expensive items at the health food store that I had never heard of. Another problem was that the food was stuff that I normally wouldn't eat. This book is perfect for an average UC patient. If you are following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet by Elaine Gottschall, don't buy this book. It doesn't follow the guidelines of the SCD. If you want to be free from symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease and heal yourself, you need to obtain the book Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gottschall and then after starting the diet you can find a handful of great SCD cookbooks right here on [...].
