The "inner physician" is that part of the psyche that can heal--when one becomes aware of the psycho-emotional issues that come with pain. Dr. Upledger describes his methods through personal accounts such as that from Mary Ellen Clark, the Olympic diver, whom he cured of dizziness.

Fantastic book:
Whether you are a professional or whether you are just interested in what cranio sacral therapy (CST) is - this is a fantastic book. Very easy to read and yet when you are finished you understand the concept of CST and the also have a good feel for where it can be applied.
the beginnings:
It's the story of John Upledger discovering Cranio Sacral. Mostly stories of patients cured, of how he discovered that the dura mater was always moving, how he found all of his techniques. (explained in his other books) so, yes, it's interesting, but not very practical. this book explains no techniques as in the other ones, and this disappointed me a little.
Your Inner Physician and You:
Easy read, helpful for practitioners and patients to get in touch with how our bodies have the ability to heal.
Inner Phys. and Your:
Found it very interesting. I am familiar with some of the energy techniques but am excited about learning cranial sacral since reading this book. An easy read.
