overated and not updated as it claims:
I have been studying for the USMLE step 3 since Last May, I have bought a number of review books from nail the board to the recall as well as first aid step 3. I have nearly completed the USMLEWORLD qbank and been doing kaplan Qbank and at this point, I was tempted to take a look at the so called "throughly updated", Crush step 3, which is false and misleading. They simply changed the coloring and layout of the same book and added a few tables for vaccinations and RA meds! Its not really updated... more info
Concise, but not enough details for me:
Exactly what I said in the subject. Overall, a quick reference book, but nothing special.
The title speaks for itself:
By using only this book I scored a 95% on Step 3. It is easy to use, short, and to the point. If you want to do well, and you know this book inside and out, you should be good to go.
good overview book:
excellent overview book. concise. good organization. high-yield materials. great for those 5-10 minute breaks. content is too limited to be the only resource. need to supplement your study with real textbooks.
