As a coauthor on this book I was dismayed by the comments made by Mr. Pafundi. I wonder if he is looking at the 1st ed. that was written by another person and had some errors. When we took over the book, my colleagues and I went through the text word for word and matched the information with the mainstream radiography textbooks so that limited x-ray operators were receiving the same information as formally trained radiologic technologists. Radiography Essentials for Limited Practice - Text and Workbook Package (Paperback) 2006 Second Edition:
This text book is terrible. It is filled with errors, creating a very confusing and unfriendly source material in the classroom. Its good points are far outweighed by the bad, and therefore not mentioned. Not recommended for the Instructor and Student who expect accuracy in a textbook. The Editor / Publisher should have at least included a list of corrections for the student. Send it back to the Editor for much needed work.
