A trek through time:
This book takes us on a trek through time - literally. We learn about timekeeping from the calendars of the earliest civilizations all the way up to atomic clocks and beyond. I have to say that I got as much out of this book as my kids did. I had used terms like "quartz timing" or "atomic clock" before without really understanding what they are. The best part of the book for most kids will probably be the activities. My daughter loved the incense clock especially. None of the activities required any... more info
