As far as hand books go I am somewhat disappointed in this text. Even once you get past the rather ... feel of the handbook you can't help but be disappointed by the typos, especially for a text which has been copyrighted three times but still gives you the feeling that it never made it past its first edition. A Great Pocket Book!:
I found this handy, pocket book immensly useful in my intern year. This contains a lot of medical pearls in a well organised way. The last part of the book which discusses patient management based on the symptoms will be defenitely beneficial to any resident especially in the initial years. I highly recommend this book to all my colleagues. I wish if it had a more detailed account on the medciations and some more disease processes too.
