good information:
I think this is a great resource for women and worth reading. Good background information about heart disease in women as well as how to prevent it and what you can do about it. Good nutritional advice and sound habits to get in to. Beware to have the latest information that books sometimes lack.

All women - and anyone who knows and loves a woman who might have cardiovascular disease - should read this book. The information is clear and easy to follow. There is a lot of information, but you can glean a lot of useful tips and helpful advice without studying every word. Very boring, reads like a textbook.:
I found this book to be very boring. I bought it because I had seen it referanced in a lot of magazine articles. It may be good for looking up useful information on heart disease, but not really a preventative book. The diet recommended in this book is unrealistic to me and seems like a diet that would be recommended to a person who was diagnosed with heart disease and had to change their lifestyle.
Informative but hard to keep reading:
I bought this book because I had seen a lot of people referance from it in magazine articles so I assumed it would be very informative. While it is informative it is very much like reading a text book for me. I have had to read it in small portions at a time because so much information at one time gets pretty boring.
