Mad that I spent money on this book:
This entire book is an advertisement for the book and self praise for the author, and never gets to anything interesting. It's full of patting on the back (for things not relevant to the reader) and useless advice. It tells you basically, to take care of yourself and feel good, and then you won't have hypoglycemia. Hot tips like, "be sure to use a base coat for your nailpolish", and "just learn to feel good about yourself" - NO practical advice for hypoglycemics. This is a pep talk to do something about... more info
Quite a disappointment:
I thought that I would receive a book with clear meal plans for avoiding hypoglycemic episodes. What I got was another "reduce your stress and take care of yourself" book, with an extra bonus chapter about how helpful others found the previous edition. I am disappointed. What a bunch of hoo-haa (if that's how you spell hoo-haa). I'd send it back for a refund but the shipping charges would cancel out most of the refund. Headed for the recycle bin...
Very Simple Great for first-time info:
This book is great for first time information on hypoglycemia. I wanted more information on what to eat and not to eat, BUT it did give me alot of information on some other things i did not know. Recommended if you don't know anything about it.
