Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Provider Manual I find myself wondering how any large book store can not have enough of these textbooks on hand. These are the mandatory books that most hospitals demand! If you are a health care provider (which endorses a huge population of medical care givers,) the necessity of this book as THE primary study guide to pass and obtain your certification so you are allowed to work in the department you are in is of paramount importance. late delivery/good product:
The book was good. However, the one I bought online did not come until 1 and a half weeks after I took the class. Fortunately, at the last minute I borrowed a book from one of the paramedics that I know from work. So I'm rather annoyed about that. I am keeping the book because it is good information and I will read it anyway, even though I don't have to recert for another 2 years. I prefer to go into a class prepared, but I was not because of the late delivery. I passed it anyway but I like to be better... more info
PALS Manual:
Exactly as the book describes. This is the official AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual. It's a good book. It reads, details, and instructs as all other AHA manuals do. This revision of the books is much smaller, which I like a lot. They have left out a lot of the pictures and remedial review stuff that a provider of this level should already know. I love the quick reference cards that come enclosed with the book.
