Yes:
If your prof does not recommend this - ignore her and get this. The first chapter alone will get you through most college level immuno courses. The rest is at an almost-phd level but is still really well written and understandable, with the most important thing - accurate and memorable pictures.

This is a really good, general immunology book. It is well written and the figures are very clear.

This book is great! I am taking my first Immunology class and this Janeway book makes everything really easy to understand! I highly recommend buying it!
