Useful Tool:
I purchased this med deck because it was taking too long to make med cards by hand. Since my class is using Davis' Drug Guide, I wanted Davis' med deck. Most of the cards I needed were included, and for the ones that weren't there is a CD that I was able to use to cut and paste the info into my own cards. Good book - Slow shipping:
This book, along with all others ordered that day, were just what my daughter needed for nursing school. My only complaint is the shipping. The books trickled in over the course of several weeks. This made the beginning of school difficult for my daughter. I wish I had known this was the way they would come in.
Nurses Med Deck:
The med deck is just what I needed as far as good compilation of meds. I wish the cards were printed on heavier paper as they won't take much usage. I am a nursing student and need to carry them with me and to laminate them would be twice the cost.
Handy for Clinicals:
I am required to bring med cards to clinical and (like all nursing students) have limited time to write them out. These cards saved me a bundle of time. My only criticism is that not all the drugs from my Davis's Drug Guide book are included in these cards. I was very surprised to find Pitocin was not included since it is a pretty standard drug in Labor and Delivery.
