Finally got me a copy!:
I had checked this out from the library. I thoroughly enjoyed it and put it on my Amazon wish list. I kept putting off buying. Someone gave it to me for Christmas. I was thrilled to have my own copy. Its a great book. Very informative and a good resource. Its a cookbook. You adjust it to your taste and lifestyle. Pick and choose. It helps you use real food and not be tied to jarred baby food and all that horrible over processed, over preservative baby/toddler snack foods. Its a great tool in transitioning... more info
This is a great cookbook!:
I ordered a few baby food cookbooks and I love them! I really like this one, mainly because I really did want my daughter to start out on organic food and this one really is good for that. I did not believe it before, but now I do believe that homemade baby food is a lot cheaper and healthier for the baby.

This book is terrible! The suggestions for what to feed a 4-7 month old baby are crazy. At the beginning of numerous recipes it suggests frying and onion, potatos, etc.! Why on earth would you fry anything for a 4 month old baby?!It also suggests cheddar cheese, and strawberries for babies under one year old. I am suprised the book doesn't mention sprinkling peanuts as a garnish on top of the fried onion, cheddar and strawberries. A basic understanding of babies and nutrition should be necessary if you are... more info
