Southern Food and Comfort!:

Art Smith is another southern cook who remembers where he came from. His recipes are simple and delicious..I have so many dog-eared pages in this book. here are a few which are incredibly delicious... The Hummingbird Cake, Summer Squash and Lemon Thyme Soup, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Zucchini and Tomato Frittata, are a few of my favorites in this book. The pictures in the book are all mouth-watering ones too!

pretty and useful:

This is a good cookbook, it is pretty to look at too. It has full color pictures and really good finger lickin' recipes. I use it frequently.

this cake recipe has been elusive, unavailable on line. i am pleased to have found it;

LOVE IT!!!:

This cookbok is very well put together. Not only are the recipes fabulous (try the mixed berry muffins), but the photography and poetry are inspirational and just plain lovely. This book is well worth having in your collection.
