Generally, I don't like to submit bad reviews, but unfortunately, this book deserves it. For one thing, Eisenbach presents a history of late 60's/early 70's LGBT activism that is overwhelmingly male-dominated. For example, of the 25 people he interviewed only one was female (Karla Jay). Besides completely trivializing lesbian feminism, he barely mentions anything about the contributions of transgendered activists and queers of color.
