Less than expected...:

I agree with the previous post that Dick Winters doesn't offer much more information than what was covered in "Band of Brothers" by Ambrose. You do learn more about Maj. Winters' personal background prior to being a paratrooper and his time with a family in England, although he never addresses how a Mennonite evolved into a skilled warrior willing to kill. While I greatly admire his character and accomplishments like everyone else, I must say that he comes across in this book as overly pious about himself... more info

Nothing new about Easy Company:

I have read "Band of Brothers" by Ambrose, "Biggest Brother" by Alexander, and "Beyond Band of Brothers". Beyond Band of Brothers is just a repeat of the exact pages, word for word, as the other two books. The book looks as if it was mainly copy/pasted from the other two for the most part. It is a good book, but if you are looking for more answers to your questions you may have, they are not in this book.
