This review book contains 1,000 questions that mimic the in-service residency exam and board exam in emergency medicine. Questions are divided into 10 tests of 100 questions each, and each test covers all areas of emergency medicine: internal medicine and surgery specialty areas, dentistry, trauma, obstetrics, pediatrics, toxicology, environmental medicine, radiology, dermatology, EMS, and bioterrorism. Questions are case-based and 10% involve interpreting an image. Answers are included, along with concise explanations of the correct and incorrect answer choices.

Thorough review, excellent practice for the boards:
I used this book as a supplement along with the Carol Rivers series. There are plenty of questions that cover most of the components of the EM Model that are tested on the exam. Some of the questions are almost too specific or trivial at times, but the explanations provided for the answers offer the necessary review of the topics they are addressing. This book is not organized in a manner to allow it to be used as the sole study resource for the exam, but I would definitely recommend this as a question book... more info
dodgy product:
sketchy at best, a fair amount of innacuracies, questions that belong on the IM boards, and questions very unlikely to be asked. Still there are obviously many hundred good questions...need to be careful though as some of their info is simply wrong!
outstanding:
This question book is extremely well written and useful for studying for the ABEM written exam or in-service exams. I highly recommend it.
Great Review Book:
This book has great, relevant questions that are very similar to those on the EM Inservice Exam and on Boards. I highly recommend it.
