great book for MTs:
I use my Med/Surg word book constantly. I could not do my job without it.
Stedman's Books:
These books are a must to your collection if you need a constant reference source.
A must for operative notes:
If you do operative notes, this reference is a must. I use this book more than any other word book.
Not much new since last edition:
I purchased the 4th edition and gave away my 3rd edition to a friend. Unfortunately, I didn't make a list of my own add-ins, thinking that they would be included in the new edition. However, there are countless words that are not in the new edition that our doctors are using. This book is a must-have for anyone without a good equipment book, but I would recommend that anyone with the 3rd edition wait for the 5th edition and hope that it will be more complete.
