Essential manuel for Plastic surgery residents/rotation:
BRILLIANT book! No useless information, perfectly organised, fits in the pocket.
Also very useful for general/maxillofacial/ENT/orthopedic surgery and dermatology rotations.
Michigan Manual of Plastic Surgery -Review:
Although one can tell that a lot of time and energy was used to write this book, there is little value to this book for the practicing physician.
Excellent Review Book for Medical Students:
Michigan Manual is comprehensive in its scope of plastic surgery topics and should serve as an excellent reference for medical students. I am a fourth year student and found this text invaluable. It is written in outline form and serves as a quick review. It is a great primer for cases, and can be carried around in your coat pocket.
