ACSM's Certification Review is a review manual for candidates wanting an ACSM credential including ACSM's Health and Fitness Certification, ACSM's Clinical Certification, or ACSM's Registry for Clinical Exercise Physiology. The book combines content from the first editions of ACSM's Health and Fitness Certification Review and ACSM's Clinical Certification Review into one resource. Content is based on the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) found in ACSM's Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription, Seventh Edition. Each chapter presents an outline-format review and ends with certification-type questions and answers. The book includes two comprehensive practice exams to test the reader's knowledge.

Great Studying Material:
The ACSM certification review is amazing to refresh your memory (or learn how the ACSM test is based) to build you up for your big test.
Lots of info to absorb,and for me its more of a reminder for what i learned over the past year (graduated fitness technician woot!).
But definately reccomend it.

As someone making a career move to something new I can say that this guide is an excellent source of information. I would recommend anyone who is going to become a personal trainer to purchase this guide.
Not the primary source for personal trainer certification:
I purchased this review thinking it was a primary source for the ACSM PT cert. It isn't. They mention it on the ACSM website. The first book they mention (ACSM's resources for the personal trainer...) is the actual primary resource. I wanted to get this book because it was cheaper and did not have the idiotic looking picture on the front like the "resources" book does. Then I had to spend more money to go back and get the dumb-looking resources book. Apparently the book is intended for other certifications... more info
