Great for learning and revising vascular anatomy:
For the general surgeon, this is an excellent text to crystallise the approaches and exposures required in vascular surgery. It is also a great revision text to refresh one's memory of a particular area before a case. The illustrations are excellent in terms of detail and the perspectives of the illustrations are very relevant from a surgical (rather than anatomical) point of view.
A workhorse:
This book is a wonderful review of practical surgical approaches. It has enhanced my ability to visualise the anatomy in three dimensions. The drawings are gorgeous with a very intersting perspective - not just looking from the top or bottom. An Invaluable and Essential Resource:
Directed towards vascular fellows, practicing vascular surgeons, and senior-level (PGY-4 or -5) surgical residents interested in vascular surgery, this is a comprehensive, 3-D anatomical approach towards describing optimal exposures for every imaginable open vascular procedure. It would probably be of value to vascular interventionalists as well.
