Does this book contain recipes?:
Sorry everyone, this is a question, not a review! I just purchased Dr. Pitcairn's holistic health book, and this one looks like it is a great companion to that book. However, I was disappointed by the lack of recipes in the Pitcairn book-- does this book contain recipes? If not, can anyone recommend a good recipe book for homecooking? Thanks!
Great Book!:
Boy, now this is a detailed book. This covers every area of holistic care for your canine. I love that it covers aroma therapy, homeopathy and flower essences, in addition to others. These were the areas that I was most interested in. The information is very detailed, which I loved. It's so nice to have every area covered in one book instead of having to buy numerous books to find out information on various subjects. It also covers massage and TellingtonTouch which you'd usually have to buy individual books... more info
Holistic Pet Care:
Over the last several months I have become more interested in learning about natural healings/alternative medicine for myself. Then I got the idea to look for it also for pets animals. I found this book to be very insightfully there are so many different things that fall under holistic care. I will defiantly be reading and learning more about various holistic methods (i.e. massage therapy, aromatherapy, herbs, Bach flowers etc). When I get a new puppy sometime next year I plan to take him to a holistic vet... more info
