Good tips.:

I like the book...but I wouldnt buy it again. I feel like the "medicines" that they suggest are usually very expensive and hard to find.

Handy:

I am thrilled just having this book around. If there's a need, I'm sure it will be listed. There are tons of great, natural, healthy ideas of caring for your best friend. It is worth having around...just in case.

Excellent Reference!:

I am an herbalist by trade but as many of you may know, herbs work differently on dogs and cats then they do on humans. You cannot apply the same treatments and dosages to animals.
This book is helpful in 2 ways. First it contains a list of several ailments at the start with proposed treatments - but that section is so so. If you are looking for in-depth discussion of each ailment, this is not it. This book covers each ailment briefly, along with suggested therapies and their success rates/effects on... more info

Delivery complaint.:

This is a really great book so I could only give 5 stars for it.
My complaint is towards AMAZON who keeps delivering their books in an unacceptable state, either with the hard covers smashed on the corners, or with pages either torn, creased or wrinkled from careless placement inside the boxes.
As a very frequent client I wish amazon would make more of an effort in delivering "NEW" products looking NEW, otherwise, it would be wiser to buy "used" books for less elsewhere.
