This book was a gift from a friend who picked it up at a thrift store for me. I got it early enough in my pregnancy that I was devouring any sort of pregnancy information and fetal development information I could get my hands on. This was by far not my favorite source. I love this book. It has been so helpful. Definitely recommend for any expectant mother and father.
Must Have:
This book is a must have for any new mom... a LOT of it may not pertain to you because it discusses a LOT of complications that you can have during pregnancy. It can make you a little paranoid but you will be very well informed if anything were to go a little differently than planned. Glad I read it!

If there is one book that will make your 9 months of pregnancy manageable, you need to get the new 4th edition (completely revised and updated) of "What to expect when you are expecting." The claim on the top of the cover page ("the world's bestselling pregnancy manual") seems a bit embellished, until you get a chance to dive in and use it. The book is truly built as a manual.
