Not what I expected:
The book didn't arrive until well into the second week of class and when it finally got there I was expecting it to be in "like new condition" as advertised, but instead it has a lot of highlighting and post-it notes (which now do not want to come out easily) attached to the middle of several pages. I ended up ordering a brand new copy so anything I saved was more than lost by the time it was all over. It would have been better for me to have just gotten a new copy from the school bookstore to begin with.... more info
Student Manual for Corey's Theory and Practice of Counseling and Psychotherapy, 7th:
This goes along well with the text and is an excellent study guide with the textbook. I recommend it. It is a good overview of psychotherapy theories.

I ordered this book while studying for the National Board of Certified Counselor's Exam. (NCC) I was familiar with Corey's textbooks that I used while completing my master's in THE EIGHTIES- but this volume far surpassed my expectations. The volume is filled with information that makes the theories and theorist's discussed so much more available and more easily integrated.
