Lacking:
I bought the book expecting assistance in writing measurable treatment plans. I was disappointed. While the text does provide helpful ideas, most are not measurable. If you need something that helps define measurable terms, this is not the book to get.
The Complete Adult Psychotherapy Treatment Planner:
This is a very good book for students who are completing their graduate level counseling programs, and starting the practicum.
Great resource!:
This planner is very helpful in the development of a treatment. Also helpful to beginning counselors.
Not All That:
This book is very basic for treatment planning. I thought it would provide a lot more detail than it does. You can just as much out of the DSM-IV or just by using CBT. I would not recommend this to someone looking for than a basic understanding of treatment planning. I was very disappointed.
