The elbow test draws you into the book. I like that the authors makes a statement that they are not trying to push anything "that haven't been thoroughly tested" p12. This book talks about everything i.e. anti-aging creams, exfoliation, scar prevention for nicks and cuts, and skin cancer. There are topics for men too which is rare in topics discussing skin. Additionally, on p76 Parabens is mentioned in regards to reading the labels, but I was unclear of the authors' opinion if it is good for your face or... more info
