EKG Plain and Simple covers the broad spectrum of electrocardiography in a conversational style.  This text has taught thousands the art and science of EKG foundations and applications.  No prior knowledge about the heart is required, as the book progresses from simple to more advanced concepts.  Part I contains the basic building blocks of knowledge:  waves, complexes, lead morphology and rhythms.  Part II moves into more complex topics with information covering 12-lead EKGs, axis, hypertrophy, myocardial infarction and pacemakers.

Easy EKGs:

I love this book. It made EKGs very easy to understand. It presents basic & precise information, without getting you bogged down on unnecessary details. It has good illustrations and every chapter ends with review quiz questions that provide a lot of practice. This book also has great analogies that make the concepts clear. I found this book to be very helpful in my nursing courses. I definitely recommend it to all nursing students!
