Cant say enough, great book!:
I love this book. It is so very comparable to the merck manual. It covers every topic beautifully and concisely including all the pertinent things you would need to know for any disease or pathology. I find myself always refering back to it when reviewing material or needing a refresher on certain topics. It is a bulky book so it is not a good book to carry around with you, but as a desk reference its a must have.
A bible for third year med students:
Seriously, don't consider anything else. I used this for my write ups and notes third year, and did really well. I always got complimented on the information I covered in my notes. I LOVE this book.
Great quick reference guide for on-the-go days:
When you have absolutely no time to look anything up in between patients... this is the book to look up. Concise, useful, user-friendly.
