Handy book for quick reference:
This a handy book for a quick review, but is not very indepth. I have used it a good bit in the ED, but still rely on other references as well. The book is well written, size is good and has a few illustrations.
Excellent quick reference for EM Clerkship:
As a fourth year medical student, I carried this handy guide around with me during my EM clerkships. I found it to be extremely valuable as a quick reference before seeing a patient and as well as afterwards when I came up with my differential diagnosis and plan. The book seems to carry just the right amount of information. Handy book:
I purchased this book to back me up in my clinical year instead of carrying the big and great Tintinalli's "Emergency Med." I think this little version does a good job in giving a concise information on emergency medicine.
Good for rounds:
Great resource to have when making rounds. Didn't seem as indepth as I would like it to be in some places. Good refresher kind of book, with other resources handy for more indepth information.
