Interesting Reading:
I have long been a fan of Melody Beattie and this book is no different. Very well written and based on Melody's life experiences, this book helped me understand that, really, I am not alone in my confusion with my life.
Not what I was expecting:
This book has a much more of a "new age" feel to it than Codependent No More. This might be a selling point for someone else, but it was a real turn off for me. Codependent No More and Beyond Codependency are still my favorites by her.
soul survival kit:
Ok book. I don't much like the remedies at end of many of the activities, but the main text is pretty good. I underlined a lot of things that were powerful to me.
